This has sucked up hours of my life, and I've tried everything I can think of. Which is something I tried just to test the card at one point. The card itself works under OS X (and works well as evidenced by xbench, novabench, and cinebench tests).
I've even put it in the other PCI slot with the same results. When I right click it, under properties, it says it says: "Windows cannot start this harware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged (code 19)."ħ) Searched in registry to find and delete upper or lower filters, but they don't even show (nor does anything resembling graphics card)Ĩ) I've physically removed the card multiple times. Exact same results.Ħ) In device manager, when clicking on display adapter, it shows the yellow exclamation point.

Even used another Windows 7 install disc to see what might happen. Have tried this with new and old versions of Nvidia drivers as well as the ones Windows tries to load.Ĥ) Have uninstalled, disabled, reloaded the card multiple times in device manager.ĥ) Reinstalled Windows 7 itself several times. Restart, and all is well with no acceleration (generic VGA). Restart and Windows works normally, but only with generic VGA graphics.ģ) Install Nvidia drivers. So, here's what I've tried to fix the problem:Ģ) Use Drivesweeper and delete all graphics drivers. Loaded Windows successfully and, upon restart, I get the "loading windows" message and then my monitor turns off, nothing detected from videocard. Disconnected all HDs except the soon-to-be Windows drive. In power section, set Suspend Mode to S3 onlyĭecided to add another HD and load Win 7Ultimate. Loaded SL and it has been running like a dream.
